Frequently Asked Questions

How does FitCrush choose my daily task?

FitCrush uses an intelligent engine that considers your fitness level, goals, completion history, sleep, stress, and activity data from Apple Health. It picks the one task that will help you most today.

Do I need any equipment?

No. During onboarding, you tell us what equipment you have access to. If you select "none," all your tasks will be bodyweight exercises and lifestyle habits that require zero equipment.

Why only one task per day?

Research shows that building one habit at a time is far more effective than trying to change everything at once. One task keeps it simple, achievable, and builds real consistency over time.

The task is too easy / too hard. What can I do?

After completing a task, you'll be asked "How did that feel?" — selecting "Too easy" or "That was hard" directly adjusts future task difficulty. You can also tap "Make It Easier" before completing a task to get an easier version.

Does FitCrush require Apple Health?

No. The app works without Apple Health access, but it provides a better experience with it. HealthKit data helps personalize your tasks based on your actual step count, sleep, and activity levels.

How do I add friends to the leaderboard?

Go to the Rank tab, switch to "Friends," and tap the person+ icon. Share your 6-letter friend code with friends, and enter theirs to connect. Both users need to add each other's codes.

Is my health data shared?

No. Your health data stays on your device and is never shared with us or any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling the app removes all local data. Leaderboard data stored in iCloud can be managed through your device's iCloud settings.
